Knicks use late surge to complete comeback victory over Pistons in Game 1

Jalen Brunson scored 34 points, Cameron Payne had 11 of his 14 in the fourth quarter and the New York Knicks surprised the Detroit Pistons with a 21-0 run in the last period to gather for a 123-112 victory on Saturday evening in Game 1 by Esir Cracst-Round Playoff series.

Karl-Anthony Towns had 23 points and 11 rebounds in his first Playoff match with the Knicks and OG Anunoby also scored 23 points for the no. 3-class Knicks. They organize game 2 on Monday evening.

The pistons held up more than three-quarters of their first play-off game since 2019 and had a 98-90 lead, just over nine minutes after the end of their NBA record, 14-game Postseason Losg.

Brunson, who missed 15 games in the season with a sprained judge ankle, was only 4 for 15 in the first half and seemed to bump in the third quarter after his ankle after his ankle. But he changed from his green sneakers and found a different equipment in the fourth together with the Knicks.
