The Congress Party announced on Saturday the launch of a national campaign to ‘save the Constitution’ throughout the country from April 25, which will continue until May 30, the game said in a statement.

The party will also counteract the BJP misinformation campaign on the problem of the National Herald, with higher leaders who have press conferences in different cities throughout the country.

This decision was taken at a meeting of the general secretaries of the Congress, in charge of the State and heads of several frontal organizations, chaired by the president of Congress, Mallikarjun Kharge, in the national capital.

Inform the reporters after the meeting, the communications of the secretary general of the party, Jairam Ramesh, revealed that in the follow -up of the resolution approved in the Ahmedabad AICC session, the demonstrations ‘Samvidhan Bachao’ will be organized at the PCC level from April 25 to April.

This will be followed by similar manifestations at the district level from May 3 to 10. From May 11 to May 17, the demonstrations of Samvidhan Bachao will be carried out in 4,500 assembly segments throughout the country. From May 20 to May 30, a travel campaign will be a hero to save the Constitution.

Jairam Ramesh accused BJP government of misuse of the Directorate of Execution against Congress leaders. Referring to the issue of the National Herald, he said, there was no legal problem involved, since it was just a case of political revenge orchestrated by two people with a criminal mentality.

He announced that to counteract the misinformation of the BJP on National Herald, Congress leaders will celebrate press conferences in different cities from all over the country from April 21 to 24.

“This is not a legal problem, but a political problem hitting or political revenge, policy of persecution, intimidation and fear of munning,” he observed.

Referring to the resolution approved in the Ahmedabad session, he said, the focus of the party will be in social, economic and political justice. He said that today’s meeting reiterated the demand of the parts of a distribution census throughout the country.

In addition, it will seek the reserve issue for students of SC, ST and OBC in private educational institutions. The party also reaffirmed the demand to eliminate the ceiling of 50 percent of the reserves.

On economic justice, he reiterated his commitment to legal guarantees for the minimum support price (MSP) and the fixation of the MSP according to the Swaminathan formula, as well as the exemption of debt for farmers. The meeting emphasized the need for the reactivation of the MSME, most of which have been closed due to massive Chinese imports.

The Secretary General of Congress also referred to the strengthening and empowerment of the DCC presidents. In addition, a special process has been formulated to appoint DCC presidents.

There will be five observers involved in the appointment of the DCC Presidents, he said, adding that four of them will be from the PCC and one will be from the AICC.

The process of appointing the DCC presidents in Gujarat is expected to be completed before May 31, the part added.
