The vice president of the United States, JD Vance, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi discussed the progress in the conversations and efforts of the Bilateral Agreement in the course of India-United States to improve cooperation in energy, defense and strategic technologies in their meeting in New Delhi on Monday.

Vance is in India on an official four -day visit with his wife Usha Vance, three children and high -rank members of the United States government. He is scheduled to visit Jaipur and Agra after his meeting with Modi.

A statement issued by the Prime Minister’s office after the meeting said: “They welcomed to welcome significant progress in negotiations for a bilateral trade benefit from India, India, strategic technologies and other areas.”

The two leaders also exchanged points of view on various regional and global issues of mutual interest, and asked that dialogue and diplomacy be the way to follow, the statement added.

Vance’s visit is particularly important since India, at this time, is involved in urgent discussions with the United States to reach an “early section” of the BTA to convince Trump’s government that he does not impose the reciprocal Tary 9.

While reciprocal tariffs were announced on April 2, the president of the United States, Donald Trump, stopped for 90 days to give time to countries to resolve trade agreements with the US.

A delegation of senior officials of India will travel to Washington DC this week to meet their American counterparts for commercial dialogue. India also moves the US to reverse the reference rates of 10 percent imposed on almost all imports this month.

UU. Continued to be the main export destination of India in fiscal year 2000 with exports or $ 86.51 billion contributing to 19 percent of exports in the country. India imports from the United States were $ 45.33 billion.

“The Prime Minister recalled Goondly his visit to Washington DC in January and his fruitful discussions with President Trump, who established the road map for close cooperation between India and the United States, taking advantage of the strengths of Make 2047, El Castmeme) and” “

In a publication on the social media platform X on Monday, the spokesman for Mea, Randhir Jaiswal, said that the official tension of the visit (April 21-24) Delhi, Jaipur and AGRA is further deepened of the Global Integral Strategic Association of India-US.

After being received at the airport by Railroad Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on Monday morning, Vance and his family went to visit the Swaminarayan Akshardham temple and bought the cabin emporium administered by the Government.

Vance will travel to Jaipur, where he will go to a meeting and will have some private events to attend. The vice president and his family will visit Agra on Wednesday and leave the country early Thursday.
