Connecticut Sun sign two sharpshooters ahead of 2025 WNBA season

The Connecticut Sun announced on Monday that guard Madison Hayes and Forward Morgan Mally have signed training camp contracts.

Madison Hayes has just completed a highly graduated season in the state of North Carolina, in which she had on average a career-best 10.9 points and 7.1 rebounds per game. She led the Wolfpack in rebounds per game, as well as total attacking rebounds (71), three -point percentage (41.3%) and the free throw percentage (81.9%). Hayes helped the Wolfpack to two regular regular seasonal titles (2022, 2025), an ACC Conference Tournament Crown (2022) and an NCAA Final Four appearance in 2024.

In the meantime, Morgan Maly joins De Zon after the five -year career at Creighton University. The 6-1 guard was on average to career-best 17.3 points, as well as 5.7 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game in her senior season. She also shot a career-high 42.7 % from outside the three-point line.

Mall is Creighton’s of all time leader in played games (150) and made three-point field goals (333). She is also the second time in scoring (2,072) and sixth of all time in Rebound (801). She helped the Bluejays to four consecutive NCAA Tournament-Ligplaces in Leiden, including the first NCAA Elite Eight Appearance of the program in 2022.

The Connecticut Sun currently listed 21 players on Esir Tra-Camp Roster

In addition to Hayes and Mally, that list includes:

  • Protect Abbey HSU, to Columbia Universityout that was drawn up by the team in 2024
  • Amy Okonkwo
  • Center Kamila Borkowska, which comes from Pool
  • Center Kariaata Diaby from Cote d’Avoire
  • Vooruit Anesah Morrow, the no. 7 Trekpick van de Zon in 2025, from LSU
  • Guard Saniya Rivers, the no. 8 Trekpick van de Zon in 2025, from the state of North Carolina
  • Center-Forward Rayah Marshall, the number 25 Pick from USC van de Sun from the design of 2025
  • Vetera Watch Diamond Deshields, who drew at the sun in free desk
  • Guard Marina Mabrey, who returns for a second season in Connecticut
  • Guard James Sheldon, who acquires the sun through trade from the Dallas wings
  • Forward Mya Hollingshed, which was set up by De Las Vegas in 2022 but to play in the WNBA
  • Centrum Olivia Nelson -ododa, which returns for a fourth season in Connecticut
  • Guard Yvonne Anderson, who previously played for the sun in 2022
  • Guard Lindsay Allen, who acquires Sun through trade from the Chicago Sky
  • Hall of Fame Center Tina Charles
  • The French guard Leila Lacan, who generally selected the Zon 10th in the WNBA design of 2024
  • Forward Caitlin Bickle, a recurring second year in advance
  • Forward-Guard Haley Peters
  • Robyn Parks Vooruit

Of the 21 players, 12 will make the last selection of the sun.
