Global Concierge Health Benefit World Class has raised $ 10 million in funds, which will use to expand its Global Centers of Excellence network, the company shared exclusively with Medcity News.

World Class Health, based in New York City, supports self -financed employers and provides access to a global network of 1% higher suppliers. The network covers North America, Latin America, Europe, Africa, Middle East, India and Asia. It includes access to specialties such as musculoskeletns, cancer, fertility and others. Network prices are common at Medicare or lower level.

The increase of $ 10 million was directed by Capital Translation. There is six months after the company obtained $ 8 million in initial funds led by Alleycorp, which raises its total financing to $ 18 million.

With financing, the company will invest in improving the patient’s experience, advancing in its technology and attracting the maximum talent, cordination to Sambiar, co -founder and CEO of World Class Health.

The world class health addresses an important pain point for employers: the increase in medical care costs, agreed to Jared Kesselheim, MD, managing partner in Capital Transformation. In fact, a recent Rand report showed that private health plans paid hospitals around 254% of what Medicare would have paid for the same services.

“The United States medical care costs remain unsustainable for both employers and consumers, with a quality that is often opaque and inconsistent,” Kesselheim said in a statement. “The health of the world class has the potential to redefine the COE model to direct patients to first level suppliers in both justice and international markets, it reduces costs for both employers and consumers, while offering quality care care care for the quality of care that they can trust in quality of care.”

World class health was developed for several key reasons, according to Nambiar. The first is that large global companies because a single consistent benefit that can sacrifice their employees worldwide. In addition, many American companies employed immigrants who may be interested in accessing attention in their country of origin.

The great some examples of industries that could be of the health of the world class.

“Within the United States, approximately 50-60% of a technology company or financial companies of knowledge workers will be first-generation immigrants … The second set are people in agribusiness and manufacturing, usually in the south, and the thesis of the Rispanic group lot”, “Conference”. Their immediate families could be back at home. “

World Class Health, which was founded in 2024, currently serves about 10 employers. Nambiar hopes to duplicate that in next year. In addition, he expects the company to cover 1 million lives by the end of 2025.

And for at least one employer customer, World Class Health is achieving results.

“More than 1,000 of our employees committed to the program, and more than 20% of our workforce participates in the services offered every year,” said Kate Verbeck, director of total rewards of the manufacturing company HSM Solutions, in email. “In fact, many members of our higher leadership team have personally used the program, a powerful support of the quality of the care and service it provides. This commitment has generated more than $ 20 million in savings for our company $ 3 million” million. ”

There are several other companies that offer access to a network of Centers of Excellence, including Carrum Health and Lantern. However, world class health differs by being global, according to Nambiar.
