Soccer player’s wife, 5-year-old child kidnapped as he hid under bed during home invasion in Ecuador, police say

UPDATE: Jackson Rodríguez’s wife and the 5 -year -old son have been rescued, police said.

The incident occurred in the middle of an emergency state declared 10 days ago by the Government in nine areas of the country, including the province of Guayas, to which Guayaquil belongs.
