As the United States is at a crossroads, the realization of how we manage public services, strengthen our borders and privatize the selected government functions, one often overlooked has significant consequences for our future: how we respond effective to the lack of housing.
Supporting homeless people in healing and becoming productive members of society is not just about compassion; It is also a strategic investment in the prosperity and long -term strength of the United States.

In integrating treatment, job training, life skills and responsibility with temporary homes, thousands of single mothers previously addicted achieved sobriety, insured employment and some even became homes in California.
Our annual cost of $ 19,000 per person was a fraction of short -term spending and a substantial reduction in long -term public burden that creates massive tension in public systems.
Homeless people with unreasonable addiction and mental illnesses cost taxpayers between $ 30,000 and $ 50,000 annually in emergency services, medical care and application expenses.
To reverse this crisis, we must dismantle the disastrous federal mandates that have chained the homeless people, local communities and innovation.
