Selma Blair shared a positive health update on her battle with multiple sclerosis.
The 52 -year -old actress, who announced for the first time that she had been diagnosed with EM in 2018, revealed Thursday that she is “truly free of relapses” of the symptoms of autoimmune chronic disease.
“I am doing incredibly well. I have felt good for about a year,” said the star “Legally blonde” to People Magazine. “But I am finally well enough to really, genuinely … I always try to feel the best of me, but now that I really have resistance and energy and go out and it is not so scary.”

Now that his health has improved, Blair told people that he is thinking more about what he hopes to achieve in the future.

“I think maybe from the diagnosis … you are tired all the time. I spent much of my life so tired of not being well that I think I was just trying to get it the day,” Blair explained.

The “cruel intentions” star shared that his current plans are “much more career oriented”, they tell the exit that “he would love to act and that he already has some aligned projects.
In January, Variety reported that Blair was making his return of acting in three next films, including the drama of the Israel-Ahamas War, “Stay Forte”, the supernatural thriller “Silent” and “There”, a drama Michael and Mark’s Steer-Life.

In addition to acting, Blair, author of his Memoim “Mean Baby: Growing’s memory,” he told People that he has plans to write a “young adult book” in the fantasy genre.

Since he revealed his diagnosis, Blair has open bones about his struggles with EM, and has used the platform used to raise awareness and support under disease disease.
While talking with people, the actress said she will continue “legalizing people with chronic diseases and improving and how you see when shelters make you wathes. How do we give our life the strength of life?”
In August 2018, Blair revealed his diagnosis of EM in an emotional publication of Instagram.

“I have #multiplesclerosis. I am in an exacerbation,” he wrote in part. “By the grace of the Lord, the power of the will and the comprehensive producers of Netflix, I have a job. A wonderful job. I am disabled. Sometimes I fall. I drop things. My memory is fog. And my left side is asking for directions of a broken GPS.
“But we are doing it,” he continued. “And I laugh and I don’t know exactly what I will do accurately, but I will do my best.”

Blair has been in remission of the EM since 2021, after a stem cell transplant was subjected to treat the condition.
