The Tesla Office Inc. India reimburses the first books of its model 3, according to the emails seen by Bloomberg News, which caused speculation that the manufacturer of US electric vehicles is in a launch in the third largest car market in the world.

“We would like to return their reserve rate for the moment,” read the emails to the clients who had made these reservations in 2016. “When we finished our appointments in India, we will communicate again in the market. We hope to see that I delight it, I delegate it.

The automobile manufacturer led by Elon Musk is reimbursing one year reserves since the previous generation of model 3 is being discontinued. The measure suggests compensation of the covers before the new models in India are officially launched, after years of hesitation due to high import tariffs.

To the signals of an Immant launch are new work publications on the Tesla racing page for a store manager, sales advisor and service manager in New Delhi, as well as a cargo developer in Mumbai.

Days ago, Musk said in an X publication that he will visit India later this year, at a time when India is negotiating a commercial agreement with the United States, which may imply low cars.

It is likely that a more favorite tariff structure reintes Tesla’s long -term plans. Its world delivery of vehicles fell last year for the first time in more than a decade, since Byd Co. continues to raise a discouraging challenge.

An email to the APAC office of Tesla was not immediately answered outside business hours in India.

For India, teslas in the streets would please its increasingly rich upper middle class population, but runs the risk of damaging national car manufacturers that use thousands of people in manufacturing plants.
