“Taking a step towards cultural conformation,” is how the public sector miner, Coal India LTD (CIL) has called its last decision to present a clothing code for its workforce, including its subsidies.

The use of the clothing code in mines, exploration sites, refineries, fuel stations is common, but at the executive level it is something that has been tried but difficult to implement. Thought for special occasions Most entities have their own color code to use.

When asked what led Cil to opt for it, a senior official told him Business lineIt was to create a sense of our organization.

In fact, the Petroleum Exploration Giant of the ONCC countries also has its own clothing code: sky or white or gray pants. It does not stop there, since there are also instructions (middle width, blackberry buckle, shoes not allowed, socks, black or gray and the tie is optional.

For Women It is -sarees, Formal, Plain With Border or Small Prints Blue Or Maroon Color (Light Shades) or Salwar, Kameez and Dupatta -Formal, Plain With Border/Super Embroider and Small Prints Blue Or Maroon Color (Light Shades, Plain, Plain Shadal, Plain Shadal, Plain Shadal, Plain Shadal, Plain Shadal, Plain Shadal Plain, Plain Shadal, Shadal, Shadal, Shadal, Shadal, Shadal, Shadal, Shadal, Shadal, Shadal, Shadal, Shadal, Shadal, Shadal – Gray color, shirts and pants – Shirts of smooth blue or smooth white and white color and black or gray pants, leather shoes/sandals and socks: formal and crown or crowned shoes or brown/sandals and black or gray socks.

The Indian Coal team is looking at the light blue shirt and dark navy blue pants for men and the “conventional dress” for women: kurti/ sari color or black blouse.

The costs are being resolved and the miner is lucky to implement the rules soon. But here is talking about 2.20 Lakh of the workforce among subsidiaries. Will the clothing code be effective? There are bone cases in which attempts have a leg to bring a clothing code, but the implementation has a leg challenge.

“The clothing code will be common from a lower than higher range in the company for all types of employee categories, with the belief that professional clothing in their workplace will encourage the sense of belonging and our unit to the headquarters,” said the official.
