The New York Knicks go back to Madison Square Garden with a 3-1 lead in their first round series against the Detroit Pistons in the NBA-Play-Offs of 2025. The Knicks completed a dramatic comeback of the fourth quarter in Game 4 to steal a last win of 94-93.

Karl Anthony-Towns placed the Knicks in the front with less than a minute in regulation with a few incredible shots: first, Baseline Fadeaway that bent bowed over the defense half and through the net, and then a 27-foot Stiefback Dagger for three. Detroit had one last chance to take the lead with 11 seconds. The pistons put the ball in the hands of Cadingham, but New York Vooruit Og Anunoby was able to force a Miss. The loose ball Sumhow kicked Piston’s guard Tim Hardaway Jr. In the corner, and then it got a bit wild.

Josh Hart ran to answer Hardaway’s shot. Hart withdrew his arms to prevent the error, but clearly hit hardway with his body. Piston’s head coach JB Bickerstaff was furious after the game screamed for a dirty call. View the game here and judge for yourself:

Here is another perspective of the last shot of Hardeway. That is a lot of contact, but the referees took the whistle.

Bickerstaff was still angry about the no-call after the game. “I don’t know in any other way. There is contact on his Jumpshot.”
