Jiggly Caliente, drag queen who gained national prominence on “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” dies at age 44

Hot Jiggly, a beloved Drag Queen who competed in “Rupaul’s Drag Race” And the transgender rights activist has died at the age of 44, said Re -Family in a statement published on social networks on Sunday.

Bianca Castro-Forejo, known by the artistic name Jiggly hot, was going through what the restructuring said it was a “serious health setback” during the last month.

“

His family said that Castro-Abejo “died peacefully” on Sunday morning and was surrounded by loved ones. They remembered her as an artist and lawyer who had “infectious energy, fierce ingenuity and unwavering authenticity.”

“His legacy is love, courage and light. Although his physical presence has gone, the joy he shared and the space that helped create for so many will remain forever,” said his family’s statement. “She will be deeply strange, always loved and remembered erternally.”

Caliente entered for the first time at the center of attention as a contestant in the award -winning reality show “Rupaul’s Drag Race”. Drag Queen, born in the Philippines, competed in season 4 of the show and in the sixth season of his spin-off, “Rupaul’s Drag Race All-Stars.” It became one of the most recognizable names of the program and then acted in other television series, including “Broad City” and “Pose”, in addition to appearing as a judge in “Rupaul’s Drag Race Philippines.”

In 2016, Castro-Faejo came out publicly as a transgender woman.

“Drag was the awakening of my transercise,” Mega Magazine told Mega in an interview last year.

After the announcement of his death, the tributes of the contestants of “Drag Race” were published on social networks, even of the “Daughter Daughter” of Hot and the contestant of season 14 June Jammbalaya.

“Jiggly was just my mother Drag, she was my safe place, my human newspaper, my compass when I was lost,” Jammalaya said in an Instagram post. “There were soy mcents and eat to her broken, defeated by the business i love so a lot, to business that i felt didn’t always me back.
