UFL news: Panthers player slaps fan after game

The United Soccer League said Sunday that it had launched an investigation into an incident between a fan and the open receiver of the Michigan Panthers, Samson Nacua.

Nacua, the brother of the Los Angeles Rams, Puka Nacua, was on video in a heated confrontation in the bank after a game against the St. Louis Battlehawks. Nacua is a slap to the fan in the face and moving away. It is not clear what was said that it caused the limp.

“The UFL is aware of the incident that Tok place last night at the end of the Michigan Panthers Vs. St. Louis Battlehawks game in St. Louis. League officials are investigating the matter,” said the league in a statement.

Nacua’s teammate, Adonis Alexander, was seen with him during the confrontation, but did not seem to get involved. The game was played at the Dome of America in St. Louis. The Panthers lost to the Battlehawks, 32-27.

Samson Nacua played at FBS level at the University for Utah and Byu. He spent four years with the UTES, catching 82 passes for 1,015 yards and 11 touchdowns in 45 games. The transfer to Byu for the 2021 season and had 21 trapped for 329 yards and three touchdowns.

He tried to make the final lists of Indianapolis Colts and New Orleans Saints Fallen. He is in his second period with the Panthers and also played for the Pittsburgh Maulers.

It has seven trapped for 116 yards and a touchdown for Michigan this season.
