Jack Grealish has hit social media critics with his future in Manchester City in the balance.

Sky Sports News Reported it is expected that Grealisk is omitted from the Pep Guardiola team for the World Cup Club in the United States and options will be considered for the 29-Yare-Old when they arrive this summer.

The former captain of Aston Villa, who cost £ 100 million £ 100 million in 2021, was also omitted from the match of the match day for the 2-0 win on the last day of the season against Fulham.

It was a decision that led to Gabriel Agbonlaor, former teammate of Grealish in Villa, where Guardiola accused of making the situation “Personal” lifted the city boss that it was “selection” at that time.

Agbonlaor took his frustrations on social medium after posting a video commentary on the treatment of his player’s Spaniard.

The attacker promoted in the post, where he said: “What do you want me to do? Score A Hatty [hat-trick] In 20 [minutes]? ”

Struggles on the Pitch

Since his £100 million transfer from Aston Villa in 2021, Grealish has faced challenges in meeting expectations at City. In the 2024–25 season, he managed only seven Premier League starts, contributing one goal and one assist in 20 league appearances. Notably, he was omitted from the FA Cup final lineup, with manager Pep Guardiola opting to debut teenager Claudio Echeverri instead . This decision, among others, has led to speculation about a strained relationship between Grealish and Guardiola.

Response to Criticism

Facing criticism from fans and pundits, Grealish has defended his performances. On social media, he highlighted his recent form, stating, “Three goals in my last three appearances, each over 45 minutes.” He also addressed concerns about his off-field activities, asserting that players are entitled to their private lives and that his focus remains on his performances during training and matches .

Transfer Speculation

With his position at City uncertain, several clubs have shown interest in acquiring Grealish. Everton has emerged as a potential destination, though a move would likely require Grealish to accept a significant wage reduction . Other interested clubs include Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United, and a possible return to Aston Villa. Despite having two years remaining on his contract, City appears open to offers for the winger .

As the transfer window approaches, Grealish faces a pivotal decision regarding his career. Whether he stays to fight for his place at Manchester City or seeks a fresh start elsewhere, the coming months will be crucial in determining his trajectory at both club and international levels.
