US Open 2025: USGA stands firm on driver testing protocols despite Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler failures | Golf News

The United States Golf Association (USGA) has confirmed that it will not alternate its Driver test protocols or test results, listen to recent Failurs -Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler.

Driver Testing drew attention during the PGA championship of Last Mouth after reporting that the director of McIlroy was considered non-compliant.

McIlroy, who used this tournament backup driver, chose not to speak with the medium for the duration of the competition, but later the report and the expressive disappearance that the results had leaked.

World No 1 Scheffler also revealed that he switched to a backup driver at the PGA championship after his original club had not been tested.

Speaking for the US Open of this week at Oakmont – Live On Sky Sports -USGA CEO Mike Wan said that non-compliant results are usually due to wear, do not try violations.
