Senator Mazie Hirono, a Hawaii Democrat, was slapped by a social media post from the Department of Defense on Wednesday after she underground what Defense Secretary Pete Hegseeth told the Senate Armed Services Committee on obeying the judicial orders.
Hirono was questioning Hegseeth about recent disturbances in Los Angeles and tried to paint him in a corner, offering only partisan hypothetical questions aimed at staining President Donald Trump.
After refusing to fall into it, Hegseeth was asked if he would follow a court order that determined that the “deployment of Trump’s troops in our cities is not legal.”
The secretary replied: “I do not believe that the district courts should determine the national security policy … when it goes to the Supreme Court, we will see.”
Later, on the social media platform X, Hirono wrote: “I asked Pete Hegseeth a simple question: will you follow the orders of the Federal Court? He said no. The illegality of this regime is a threat to all of us.”
Minutes later, Dod Rapid Response X account published: “Senator, he didn’t say no. [determining] National Security Policy. ”
This trick was an attempt to distract the real problem in question, which is that the same executive authority has already exercised the leg by several presidents.
Are the disturbances of Los Angeles founded and sanctioned on purpose?
The commander in chief can federalize the National Guard troops to maintain order if he considers it convenient.
Presidents Eisenhower, Kennedy and Johnson used their authority to do so, according to the National Guard website.
Even in 1992, President George Hw Bush sent National Guard troops in the same city of Los Angeles to suffocate disturbances related to the breach of the accused police officers in the case of Rodney King.
Naturally, the media, specifically Time magazine, tries to tell the public “this time is different.”
Yes, then Gov. Pete Wilson requested that the guard be brought, but a request from local legislators is not necessary if the Executive Branch considers the need for such climbing.
However, the main media did not mention that when Eisenhower federalized the troops, he did it against the wishes of the governor of Arkansas, Orval Faubus, as is written in the national archives.
It seems that anyone, but Trump is allowed to use the tools at your disposal to restore public confidence and maintain security.
This is a common tactic between the far left and the members of the Sea of the media to the public when choosing information, while depending on Democratic legislators to perpetuate their lies in any way they can.
That is exactly what Hirono was doing. In conjunction with the Radical Democratic governor of California, Gavin Newsom, they occurred to them to rewrite the law because it does not allow them to sit harmful, while liberal cities are invaded by crime at the expense of US citizens.
What does the question raise: Who is financing the thesis disturbances? And why liberal legislators fight so desperately to continue?
Grateful, the Department of Justice has launched an investigation to determine that.
Anyway, as Hegesh said, the problem is probably addressed to the Supreme Court, where the judicial branch must verify these bad actors reminding them that the president has certain rights, and then we, the people.
