The former Apple designer, Jony Ive, who began in the technological giant in 1992, is famous for his work creating the iPhone and iPad (among other products). I have left Apple in 2019 to found its own companies, including “IO”, a startup of AI devices, which has just bought for $ 6.5 billion in an agreement of the entire stock last month for Chatgpt-Maker and AI Behemoth, Openai.

Was? If you consider the OpenAI website or social networks, you will no longer find any mention of it.

The best piece of technology that the world has seen’: Openai is acquiring the startup of former Apple Jony Ive designer for $ 6.5 billion

When the agreement was announced, the OpenI CEO, Sam Altman and Ive, published a video together announcing the association. Altman called a product that interacted with “the best piece of technology that the world has seen,” while congratulating Altman, calling him “a visionary.”

Now, the page is Blanca that awaits the text: “This page is temporarily low due to a court order after a IYO registered trademark complaint about our name ‘IO”. We do not agree with the complaint and we are reviewing our options. ”

Ive and OpenAi spokesmen said Bloomberg That the public content was eliminated due to a recent brand demand registered by a company called Iyo Inc., which also builds AI devices and wants to prohibit Openai from using the name “IO”.

“This is a completely unfounded complaint and we will fight it vigorously,” said a IVE spokesman on Sunday, according to Bloomberg.

But until then, the launch of “more cool” technology will have to wait.

Steve Jobs gave Jony with an ‘impossible task’ the first time they. He saved Apple from bankruptcy.
