Rory McIlroy (+330) will be a popular choice at the weekend. In an attempt to collect the career Grand Slam with a victory in Augusta, McIlroy shook the end of his shaky first round to fire a six-time 66 on Friday. McIlroy has not won a major since 2014. But with two victories under his belt spring, McIlroy is in elite form.
Bryson Dechambeau (+360) are in the mix in another major. The reigning US Open Champion maintains a stable representation on top of the rankings at recent Majors by mixing its trademark power of the tee with solid shot making in the second round.
Defending champion Scottie Scheffler (+400) is again in the mix. Scheffler fights for his third green jacket in the past four years and is the only Masters champion among the top ten players on the opportunity board.
First round leader Justin Rose (+750) is behind Golf’s current harvest of superstars that show the event. Part of the reason is the shaky master record of the veteran after starting. Five times after the first round during the Masters, Rose T22, T5, T36 and 7th ended the previous times he was in the same position.
The rest of the top ten includes former big winners such as Shane Lowry (+1600) and Collin Morikawa (+2500). In the meantime, Superstar talents such as Ludvig Aberg and Viktor HOVOLAND provide an intriguing duo a few shots behind the leadership.
