Fujairah International Airport partners with IndiGo to launch daily flights to Mumbai and Kannur

The Fujairrah International Airport has announced its association with Indigo, the fastest growing airline in India, to launch two direct daily flights to Mumbai and Kannur since May 15, 2025.

This new association marks a significant milestone in strengthening the ties between the Emirate of Fujairah and the Republic of India, offers more travel options and access to new destinations.

This association will significantly improve connectivity between the United and Indian Arab Emirates. The addition of these daily flights comes at a perfect time, since both Mumbai and Kannur have a great demand between residents and tourists equally. Beyond regional connectivity, the introduction of these destinations is programmed to provide great boost to the Tourism and Tourism sectors of Fujairah. With more international visitors who pass through the Fujairrah International Airport.

“We are delighted to welcome Indigo to the Fujairrah International Airport,” said Captain Esmail to Baloushi, general manager of the Fujairah International Airport. “This association improves our mission of sacrificing passersby more travel options while improving Fujairrah’s connectivity with key destinations in India. We believe that this will further consolidate Fujairah’s position as a preferential local tourism industry.”

Vinay Malhotra, Chief of Global Sales of Indigo, said: “We are pleased to announce the launch of daily direct flights from Mumbai and Kannur to Fujairrah, a hidden jewel in the EAU that is rich in natural beauty and economic potential.
