The WNBA has announced that 16 players will be invited to attend the concept of Monday in person in New York City, and the list is usually not surprising:

  • Georgia Amore, Kentucky
  • Sarah Ashlee Barker, Alabama
  • Paige Bueckers, Uconn
  • Sonia Citron, Notre Dame
  • Sania Feagin, South Carolina
  • Kiki Iriafen, USC
  • Asiaha James, NC State
  • Dominique Malonga, France
  • Aneesah Morrow, LSU
  • Te-Hina Paopao, South Carolina
  • Saniya Rivers, NC State
  • Madison Scott, Ole Miss
  • Shyanne Sellers, Maryland
  • Ajša Sivka, Slovenia
  • Serena Sundell, Kansas State
  • Hailey van Lith, TCU

Nevertheless, a number of players who could be set up in the first round remained. Here are three prospects that are not invited to attend:

Sedona Prince was a projected first prince, in the center of 6’7, an average of 17.2 points, 9.4 rebounds and 3 blocks for TCU last season. But her career was marred by controversy, because the 24-Yare-Wooi was accused of mistreatment by several women we used to date.

Prince spent six years at the university and showed that she could thrive as a more traditional center. But whether WNBA teams choose to cover her off-court problems can still be seen.

Rayah Marshall was a project in the first round on the pick of the Athletic’s Mock Draft, but was also not invited to Monday’s design. The 6’4 center was on average 10.4 points and 9.5 rebounds in four seasons at USC, and heard her name on tap evening Calleed, even if she is not physically in the building.

Marshall had a RelativeLey -Tery Senior season – but saved one of her best versions for the last time, when she placed 23 points and 15 rebounds in losses for UConn in Elite 8.

Harmoni TurnerHarvard

Michigan State V Harvard

Harmoni Turner had an excellent Ivy League career and is fresh from an Elite Seanior season in which her 22.5 points, 3.4 assists and 2.8 steals per match. The 5’10 guard did not play in one of the largest conferences in the country, but showed her ability to competition with the best of them. Turner Very Whel could be selected in the first round, and if she glides in the second, she could become a rare impact player in the second round.

Harvard won the Ivy League championship and Turner was a huge reason why, exploded for 44 points in a victory against Princeton and that followed with a 24-point outing against Colombia.

Players who are not invited to attend the design could still be selected; And many will go in the second round. And there are many example of players who have continued with WNBA career that are not officially invited to the design, such as Kate Martin-A 2024 Second Round Pick-And Lexie Hull, who was surprisingly sixth in the 2022 Wnba.
