Kohli, who recently completed his eight -year relationship with Puma as an ambassador of the brand, has rejected the sacrifice of ₹ 300 million rupees of the German sports giant to renew the contract for the next eight dreams, they said.

Instead, Kohli has decided to invest in Agilitas and have a participation in the company, backed by former managing director of Puma India and Southeast Asia, Abhishek Ganguly.

A formal advertisement on development is expected in the next three months, since Agilitas, established in 2023, is updated at the launch of the brand and the opening of new stores for One8, the sources of the industry said.

They thought that the sources recognized Kholi’s investment in Agilitas, refused to disseminate the details, saying that it is a large sum.

One8, the brand recorded by Kohli, was in collaboration with Puma and had cornered a business of around ₹ 250 million rupees. Under ‘Puma One8’ had an exclusive range of goods.

Now, One8 plans to open stores and take the brand abroad, taking advantage of Kohli’s popularity among Cricket fans.

It will be similar to the investment of the Roger Federer tennis star in the Swiss sports team company. A model called “The Roger Advantage” has been created jointly with the Swiss tennis star.

Kohli will also participate in One8 as his brand ambassador and as a cooker.

He has the potential to become India’s first aspiring mark to take a global scale with his shoes and sportswear. It also plans distribution in Leads markets such as the United States and the United Kingdom.

In 2017, Kohli had signed a contract of almost ₹ 110 million rupees with Puma for eight years, which was one of the highest for the Indian sports industry at that time.

Puma also confirmed the developments earlier this week, where a spokesman in a statement to the media wished Kohli the best for his future efforts. “It was a wonderful association with him tension several years, many outstanding campaigns and collaborations of innovative products,” he said.

A week earlier, Puma Group’s global CEO, Arne Freundt, had reported on his resignation and left the company on April 30, 2025.

In 2023, Agilitas Sports announced the acquisition of the Mochiko Shoes sports shoes manufacturer, the largest sports shoes in India for the national market, for an unrelated amount.

In his first year, Agilitas raised ₹ 600 million rupees through Convergent Finance, Nexus Venture Partners and others ₹ 30 million million individual investors.
