The scenario was established before the beginning for Mohamed Salah to be the hero, since the Egyptian was a great ovation only a few days after ending the speculation about its future by signing a new two -year contract.

Salah began with the intention of making sure it was the focus of attention, since the young left side Ollie Scarles fought to deal with the top scorer of the first minier league.

The 32 -year -old has failed to score in seven of his last eight Liverpool games, since his sensational form of early season has been reduced.

But he still managed to establish a new Premier League record when registering his 45 goal or campaign assistance, as many in a 38 -game season.

The defeat saw West Ham slide in the 17th place on the table, but they had a series of Chancs to take at least one point.

The fatigue he has seen fighting in Liverpool in recent times was evidenced again, since goalkeeper Alisson Becker was grateful for moving another three points closer to the title.

Alisson brilliantly inclined Mohammed Kudus’s chip attempt at the bar with the first serious attack of visitors.

Jarod Bowen had the best opportunity for West Ham to level when he could not beat Alisson when he was one by the Brazilian before rejecting another powerful impulse of Kudus.

When West Ham finally found the network, it was thanks to two or the most experienced defenders of Liverpool.

Robertson and Van Dijk for the same ball and the captain of Scotland diverted the cross of Aaron Wan-Bissaka in their own network.

The objective of suddenly caused the life of Liverpool after a second postponed half when Diaz’s deviant effort passed over the bar.

Van Dijk took only three minutes to make peace for the tie, since he fed the corner of Alexis Mac Allister.

The Dutchman kissed the badge to celebrate in a possible nod to him, according to the reports, after following Salah by signing a new contract.

There was even more drama to come when Niclas Full Clever hit the bar for West Ham at the time of stopping.

But Liverpool resisted taking another step towards the title in the first season by Arne Slot.

“Everyone knows how much I love this club and let’s see how you will see next week.”

In another part of the Premier League on Sunday, the city of Ipswich, for the descent, kept Chelsea in a 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge, denying the hosts the opportunity to inject a new impulse in his commitment to a place in the next season.

The draw pushed Chelsea to the last places of the Champions League, but a point ahead of Newcastle United, who had to play Manchester United later on Sunday and having one more game in his hand. Ipswich remained 18 and almost certain to return to the second level next season.
