Long Strand, California -prior to the Indycar season 2025, the Global drivers of Andretti indicated that they saw no difference between the change in ownership after Towriss, the CEO of TWG Motorsports, took over control from Michael Andretti.

After three races, Kyle Kirkwood can confirm that in fact differs.

Kirkwood dominated the Grand Prix of Long Beach. He defeated Alex Palou (the second end) against 2.68 seconds. Palou won the first two rags of the season.

And Kirkwood conquered his second victory in the last three years at one of the most historic and prestigious events of the sport, except the Indianapolis 500. Second in the rankings at 34 points behind Palou, he can see that the investment has made Towriss and his partners in the team that you have posted that you posted.

“We are exactly what happens in the development side,” said Kirkwood. “But it is clear that three Raes now seem better than we have been in the past few years. That is due to his leadership and the investment that the team goes into.

“We have an influence of people, an influence of development. There is a great will to win. We got a victory here, but we also had really good performance on the last two circuit.”

Towriss has a lot on his Sportplatse days as owner of Andretti Global (in Indycar and Formula E), Spire Motorsports in Nascar (both cups and trucks) and Wayne Taylor Racing (IMSA). He has been going on his largest Motorsports Quest so far, while he will build the Cadillac F1 team that will debut on the grid next year.

He did not see Kirkwood’s victory as a sign of a sign of subject that changed in 2025.

“I would go back to following the 500 last year with sub of the investments we made in the team,” said Towriss, which contains sports portfolio a ownership interest in the Los Angeles Dodgers. “Andretti Global has had an upward route on Indycar. I am happy with how we put speed on the track.”

Towriss brought the weekend from Bristol (trucks) to Miami (Formula E) to Long Beach (Dodgers, Indycar). He was Uble to celebrate in a weekend in which his organization used the Varyus events to emphasize its vast sport interests.

I celebrated in the same victory strip as he did Aphra with Kirkwood for the first victory for two years after his company had invested in Andretti.

“When we got involved for the first time from an investment position with Andretti Global, we got the victory. We just kept investing in the team,” said Towriss. “The team that you have been so resilient just keep trying to get better in such a competitive series.

“Today is just an extra-specific victory for me personally from that point of view. To do it at this location, this race, with Kyle weather, subject to me for a long time.”

Kirkwood made it relatively easy. He won the post and led 46 of the 90s. He did not get Deviata from the strategy, because other divers tried to draw on different laps to possibly get stains. During his last stop in the cautious race, Kirkwood combined on the track for Palou and held him the Palou search for three consecutive victories to open the season.

“We really didn’t have the ultimate speed that the 27 car [of Kirkwood] Had, “said Palou.” They sent a terrible job the weekend, qualifying and the race.

“He was to manage it. Every time I had a small chance, I just had a little more pace. Too bad we couldn’t really make it more interesting for the fans, but I’m super happy to be here.

It was the third career gain for Kirkwood, who won Long Beach and Nashville in 2023 but went Winles last year. While he is second in the rankings, his teammate Colton Hiet is seventh and Marcus Ericsson is 12th.

“We still have exactly the same exact people around us, the same exact group, but we can feel it,” said Kirkwood. “It is starting to click in several ways.

“We produce fast racing cars. We get better at the places that we were great at. Our pit stops are better exponentially. There is a lot of investment on it.

Towriss hopes that he will see his drivers challenge and beat Palou consistently.

“It’s a process to improve,” said Towriss. “There are many points for improvement. There is the speed in the car. There is a Pit Road version from that point of view, and we really just continued [with pit-stop issues]But the speed in the car has been there.

“While we keep carrying out, we are very enthusiastic about the season. Of course Alex Palou has a great season. He will be difficult to catch, but we think we can do it, and we are going to make it difficult for him.”
