Associated Press accused the White House of violating a court order after she was expelled once again from an oval office event.
On Monday, the AP writer, David Bauder, informed that a reporter and photographer were forbidden to attend a press conference with President Donald Trump and the president of El Salvador, Nayib Bukele.
This decision occurred despite the US district judge, Trevor N. McFadden, last week that the White House had violated the Constitution by blocking the access of long -date publication to press events.

“The Government does not sacrifice any other plausible explanation for its treatment of AP. The Constitution prohibits the discrimination of the point of view, only in a non -public forum such as the oval office,” McFadden wrote in his order.

McFadden ruled that the White House must restore the access of the AP press, but delayed the request of a week to allow the White House to appeal. According to Bauder’s article, the order would be valid on Monday.
The AP also reported that McFadden rejected the White House application to delay the order on Friday.
The White House quickly presented an appeal and organized a hearing before the United States Court of Appeals for the DC circuit for Thursday on whether AP’s access can still be restricted while the case is reviewed.

Meanwhile, AP spokeswoman Lauren Easton said in a statement that she hopes that access will be restored.
“Our journalists were blocked today from the Oval office. We hope that the White House will restore the participation of AP in the pool (white house press) as of today, as expected in the court order,” he said.

The controversy was after Trump signed an executive order to renew the “Gulf of Mexico” to the “Gulf of America” on his first day in office. The AP then issued a style guide on how the media would refer to the body of water.
