Sean “Diddy” Comink declared himself innocent on Monday of the new positions of a reading of positions in his federal case of sex trafficking.
Diddy, 55, appeared on a Manhattan court with the stone face with mostly gray and beard, but smiled when he saw his two lawyers, Tey Geragos and Marc Agnifilo.
His lawyers requested a postponement of the trial, which is scheduled to begin next month, and argued that the United States Prosecutor’s Office for the Southern District of New York has been maintaining more than 200,000 documents related to the case.

Agnifilo told Judge Arun Subramanian that, although the government has lit the discovery materials, the last accusation has substantial counts and may require a short -term postponement of two weeks.
Diddy was beaten with two new positions in an accusation of replacement of April 3, since federal prosecutors said that the rapper participated in the sexual trap to a female victim as recently as 2024. He was accused of transferring the woman, known as “victim 2”, together with sex workers in the state lines to participate in prostitution between 2021 and 2024.
Geragos acknowledged that his “question is unusual” when asking the government to deliver the witness’s information, but that they were emails and text messages that were not fully provided to the defense.

Prosecutor Christine Slavik opposed a postponement and accused Diddy’s “Game Games” team for requesting 200,000 government documents with respect to witness’s communications.

Slavik said that the witness’s lawyer provided documents to the Diddy team about a keyword search, which the judge suggested that prosecutors become complete documents through Thumb Drive or face a possible anthourtment or citation.
“In terms of any postponement request, we are a cargo train that is directed towards the trial,” Judge Subramanian said, and asked the lawyers to submit a request within the next 48 hours. Lawyers must return to court on Friday, April 18.

The “last night” rapper appeared for the last time in the Court on March 14, where he declared himself innocent of the first version of the government of an accusation of overcoming. That version extended the timeline of his alleged behavior of sexual trafficking and extortion and added two more victims.

The Prosecutor’s Office also accused the music tycoon of forcing employees to work long hours threatening them with physical or reputation damage and forcing an employee to participate in a sexual encounter with the musician.

Duration A prior hearing, Judge Subramanian scheduled the combs trial to begin on May 5. The Prosecutor’s Office expects the government’s case to take six weeks, while Diddy’s legal team now estimates that he needs a two -week defense.
The singer “I’ll Be Terry You” is spending his time at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn while waiting for his federal judgment for alleged extortion and sexual trafficking. Diddy has been behind bars since September.
The dishonorated music magnate has released from jail pending trial three times, with its most recently denied attempt on November 27.
