Illinois HS sports: Track athlete left paralyzed after freak accident

An Athletics athlete of the Illinois high school suffered an unimagalbal lesion while heated for the triple jump in a meeting last month.

Dylan Westcott, or Rock Falls High School, broke his neck in a strange accident that left him paralyzed in the chest down. The 18 -year -old has been rehabilitating Shirley Ryan Skitylab and has been able to sit in a wheelchair since a week after the catastrophe on March 15.
