The former defense intelligence officer and author of “Putin’s Playbook” Rebekah Koffler says that Putin can intervene in the case to ensure that Popov is deployed in Ukraine.

“Putin routinely intervenes in high profile cases, especially when the western media are involved,” Koffler told Fox News Digital on Tuesday.

“Putin is unpredictable: it can decide to let the process execute itemse and make Popov comply with a prison sentence or can decide to send it to the meat grinder in Ukraine and serve the” Russian homeland “, making a case of propaganda,” since then or him “, since then,” since then.

However, the allocation to a criminal detachment is a death sentence, since the Russian army has routinely used conflict forces to carry out almost suicidal missions in the war against Ukraine, which leads to high rates victims.
