ONDC processed 16 million transactions in March

The open network for digital trade (ONDC) prosecuted 16 million transactions in March with 10 percent compared to 14.6 million transactions in February. In general, the network crossed the 204 million brand in terms of cumulative transactions for the end of March. The base of the seller and service provider has also expanded to more than 7.6 Lakh that reflect the growing participation of partners in sectors and geographies.

The new network participants have incorporated into sectors such as groceries, food and drinks, logistics, financial services and Mipyme in the quarter of March.

A note shared by ONDC indicated that in the edible sector, it has incorporated new brands and buyers applications the duration of the quarter of March. “Notable Nagpur, Nagpur, joined the network and crossed 10,000 transactions, largely driven by the demand for applications such as Bajaj Fiesterv, Digihaat and Paytm.
