Over 50 per cent of Vi users in Mumbai move to 5G network

About 70 percent or Vodafone Idea (VI) users in Mumbai are currently experiencing their 5G service, with up to 20 percent of the VI data traffic that is already carried out in a 5G network, according to the company’s data. The telecommunications company said that its continuous investment in strengthening 4G and 5G infrastructure is delivering measurable results.

“The high proportion of 5G devices users, together with a rapid adoption of unlimited 5G VIS connectivity, reflects a strong demand for next -generation mobile networks and early impulse for VI services in financial capital. Equipment and technology,” said the company, which indicates that it will launch 5G services in Delhi, Bengaluru, Patna and Chandigarh, with more cities to follow in Phases.

VI leads the market share value in Mumbai and began its 5G deployment in the city in early March with prepaid plans that begin in ₹ 299.

Despite these VI data points, Citi Research in its report has marked the company’s delay in the deployment of 5G as a risk risk competition that leads to tariff increases, without reduction in subscriber shakes and the expected expected rhythm in the expected rhythm as and when the government turns future fees into equity.
