Realme, a popular smartphone brand among young Indians, has been associated with Optiemus Electronics Limited (OEL) to manufacture its next Aiot general products in India, the company announced today.

Optiemus Infracom Ltd shares were quoted to ₹ 492.15 in ₹ 44.70 or 9.99 percent in the NSE today at 11.20 am, blocking the shares in the upper circuit.

The collaboration aims to produce 5 million Aiot devices annually, including headphones, smart watches and tablets, while creating around 2,000 new jobs in the country. Production has already begun with Realme Buds T200 Lite headphones.

The initial manufacture will focus on the Realme Buds T200 series, the Buds wireless series and the Buds Air series. The company is also working to obtain critical components such as PCBA, batteries, mechanics, cables and loaders locally.

Realm intends to produce all its Aiot portfolio in India and explore opportunities to export Indian manufacturing products to global markets, positioning India as a manufacturing base and an innovation center.

“This collaboration will allow us to expand our manufacturing base to meet domestic demand, while reinforcing our commitment to the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative,” said a Realme spokesman.

Ashok Gupta, president of Optiemus Group, expressed enthusiasm for the association, stating: “We are completely delighted to be an eminent part of this evolution of the product based on AI. Oel will continue to play in the electronics of blows.” ”

The association represents a significant step to strengthen the manufacturing ecosystem of India and support the ‘Make In India’ initiative of the Government.
