As we get closer to the NFL design of 2025, the pressure and research to be an NFL design perspective is turned out to be a thousand. Everyone wants to know who you spoke with, where you see yourself playing, and other questions that line of thinking. For Boise State RB Ashton Jeanty, he takes substress by playing Call of Duty: Mobile. Jeanty played Call of Duty: Mobile against other prospects at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis.
In anticipation of the NFL concept, Jeanty will stream on YouTuber Bobby Plays’ channel on Wednesday 23 April and spoke to me about Call of Duty, how he trains and more.
YES: What has been your favorite part of the concept process so far?
AJ: I think it’s just going on a journey. I get to see many signs that I have never seen before, and then to meet all the different teams, players and all types of people.
YES: Which city has been your favorite outside the current building and the team so far?
AJ: I’m going to say Louisiana because of all the food.
YES: What was your favorite meal you had?
AJ: I had this fried catfish about rice with Etouffee. I forgot what else was, but it was loaded, loaded dish.
YES: So in Boise State this season you had more than 1,700 meters after contact. I wondered how you train your body to take allse hits and let boys miss without the steam.
AJ: Yes, I mean, much of it is just God seen talent with which I am blessed, but there is a lot of work that goes into it. Many lower body training, you know, which makes your lower body strong, because that is where your strength really comes from. Then a strong upper body and core to maintain your stability. Working on your balance is also crucial and how I am not not to fall and make large plays.
YES: With all access to NIL and the Transfer Portal, you are one of the few Shat that has stayed at a G5 school all their career. Why did you stay?
AJ: I think that when it comes to the field in terms of football, I had a bone group of teammates and coaches, connections and relationships that I have already built up. Then the new recruitment of coach [Spencer] Danielson, you know, I knew he would be a great coach, the right fit for the program, the person who could lead us in the right way and bring us where we should be.
Outside the field, all the relationships, connections that I have built with the boys, people in the city. I decreased to keep it all and to continue to grow and develop. That is the most important thing, you know, if you are committed to school, anyway. You want to go to the school that you are going to develop into the player you want. And I knew that Boise was the right place for me.
YES: If you would explore yourself and say: “Here is everything I am good at, and here are things that I have to go on”, what would you say that your most affected characteristic is, which you don’t think you get Aough Credit?
AJ: I think it’s my reception capacity. Although I couldn’t show it that much last year, but in my second year I led all the backs in Relevé (573 assessment yards in 2023, all RBs led in the nation). So I have that power and the high school in my junior year I played a final recipient and I set up figures. So yes, I think that is a bit covered, man.
YES: If you could perform one run concept or schedule for the rest of your life, what do you choose?
AJ: I’m going to choose in zone, man. Especially this last season we drove that much of that, and we did a lot in high school. So I just got really good at performing that schedule.
YES: Do you have favorite touchdown or favorite plays from your entire career? A where you look back on your lovingly.
AJ: About the entire career? There are two for me. Nobody really asked my entire career, so there are two that stand out. I’m going to say my Freehman year to San Diego State. That was my first career -Touchdown as a university worksheet, so that is just a spectial affected, I didn’t really get such touch that for that competition, then I get the ball and do that.
The next one is certainly the state of Washington. Break a lot of tackles and just make a crazy run. To the real highlight reel -type run.
JP Acosta (yes): What do you do with Call of Duty: Mobile?
Ashton Jeanty (AJ): Yes, so I have always been a Hage fan of the Call of Duty Franchise. Playing Mobile is perfect for my schedule, I played it back on the mowing porter with a few different boys and now leading to the design, I play it on a live stream, so that will be fun.
YES: Whho is Duy’s best call: Mobile Guy with whom you played at the combine? As if you are playing at the cradle with whom are you trying to play?
AJ: To be honest, I don’t really know. I will have to play with those guys again and make these skills again.
YES: How did playing Call of Duty help you to connect with your teammates off the field?
AJ: I mean, it’s Jus A Graat -Kanier to connect. It is clear that you play the game, that is very nice, but more than whatever you rate Ulabel to talk, catch up and spend time around boys where you might not be around every day.
YES: What is your favorite card in Call of Duty?
AJ: Oh, it’s certainly Nuketown, sure. I have to go with the OG.
