Man arrested for arson at PA governor’s home allegedly upset over Shapiro’s stance on Gaza

The police in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, are still working to assemble the fire fire and tried an attack of homicide against the residence of the governor as the details about the possible motive and the criminal history of the suspect come to light.

Cody Balmer, 38, who is supposed to be released on bail when he allegedly burned the governor’s residence on April 13. In addition, Balmer was already expected to appear in the court this week about an assault charge of 2023.

According to an affidavit obtained by Fox News about the position of 2023, a 13 -year -old boy called the police to inform that his stepfather was hitting his mother. Police wrote that the mother, identified in the affidavit as Adrian, was in a “elevated state, shouting and crying for her husband.” Balmer had supposedly taken in a complete bottle of pills in an attempt at suicide before the argument broke out. It is a battery to push and hit the 13 -year -old boy, hitting Adrian and stepping on his 10 -year -old girl broken.

The suspect of Pensylvania fire in the fire was free on bail ‘to be parente’ after an alleged family violence: report

A lieutenant at Penbrook police station told Fox News that Balmer’s mother called the police before the attack caused because she was not taking medications, and she was worried about her mental health.

The soldier of the state of Pennsylvania, Michael Gragg, details the video of the Arson attack, the 911 call of Balmer and an interview with Balmer in orders obeyed by Fox News.

The surveillance video described in the order supposedly shows Balmer breaking a window in the Governor’s residence before throwing “a incendiary device” inside. According to the order, Balmer broke another window, entered the residence and deployed another incendiary device before “approaching the dining room.” The order also establishes that a woman identified himself as the “former paramour” of Balmer, said he confessed to commit the attack and asked him to call the police to deliver it.

The second order describes Balmer’s interview with the soldiers in which he allegedly admitted to having “hosted the hatred towards” Governor Josh Shapiro. In addition, Balmer also said he planned to beat the governor with his hammer if he was discovered in the residence. Balmer also supposedly told an unidentified soldier that it was a response for the fire attack.

Pennlive obtained a search warrant for Balmer devices that could point out his reason for Sunday attack. The allegedly attacked Shapiro, who is Jewish, due to “what he hears to do to the Palestinian people.”

According to Pennlive, in the Order of Balmer devices, Pensylvania CPL state police. Benjamin Forsythe said the suspect addressed Shapiro about “perceived injustices to the people of Palestine.” Forsythe also allegedly pointed out the Jewish faith of the governor as a possible reason behind Balmer’s attack, but apparently did not explain.

“This type of violence is becoming too common in our society,” Shapiro said. “And I do not give it if it comes from one side or another in particular, aimed at a particular part or another, or a particular person or another. It is not right and has to stop. We have to be better than this.”
