With the 2025 NFL Draft approaching quickly, intrigues continues to assemble.
To this point no choice has been traded in the first round, which was a scoop since the NFL fusion if that applies. That, at least partly, speaks to the perception of this year’s quarter-back class and a lack of prospects that franchises regard as real first round players.
In anticipation of a fascinating design, which will start next Thursday, there are five of the biggest questions that the competition is confronted with:
Who is going to take Shedeur Sanders?
The most polarizing player in this year’s design, the projections of Sanders are really everywhere. In recent weeks he has been mocked as high as No. 2 in general and as low as the 1920s. Sub League observers have even stated that Ole Miss’ Jaxson Dart, generally seen as the No. 3 passer in this year’s design class, could be selected for Sanders.
All eyes are aimed at the New York Giants, who are holding private training for Sanders this week, according to FOX Sports NFL -Sinsider Jordan Schultz. If they pass him on at number 3, Quarterback-Neste teams can follow a trade to lead the New Orleans Saints, who keep the number 9 Pick. The Las Vegas Raiders (no. 6) have a starting quarterback in place (Geno Smith), but they cannot exclude 100 percent for Sanders Eithher.
When Sanders passes the saints at 9 o’clock, there is a path where the 20s is in the 1920s, where teams such as the Pittsburgh Steelers (no. 21) or Los Angeles Rams (no. 26) can watch him, or by a team that acts in the back of the round 1.
Is Jaxson Dart Shedeur Sanders challenging QB2 in this design?

Shall Kirk Neven and Nichters Are traded during the design?
It is not Unom for remarkable players to be moved during the concept time, and Cousins is one of the biggest names to view this year.
Falcons-Execs have said that they are comfortable and keep cousins on the Roster as the backup of Michael Penix Jr., but dealing with the experienced passer-by could get the much needed design capital. Atlanta currently only has three selections this year before the seventh round: Nos. 15 (first round), 46 (second round) and 118 (fourth round).
A team or teams that are not linked to their quartz back -front views after the first pair of rounds can look at the concept to pursue cousins, which raised Atlanta’s potential return to an exchange.
What will the giants do?
There is a growing feeling that the design starts at number 3 with the Giants, who can very well take the best available defensive player (Colorado’s Travis Hunter, Abdul Carter from Penn State) instead of a quarterback (suspected Sanders) with their top choice. But hanging over New York is the guideline of owner John Mara, who said at the start of the Offson that it is no. 1 Priority is finding the passer -by of the franchise of the future. Russell Wilson nor Jameis Winston fits that bill.
So the question becomes: how are the giants to get their young quarterback if the action is no. 1 is off the table and Sanders is considered “range” at number 3? Would they be satisfied with the use of their second choice of continues on a passer -by or try to trade in in the back of the first round to get one for sliding? Would that satisfy Mara? Would that be good enough for coach Brian Daboll and general manager Joe Schoen to keep their jobs after 2025?
The Giants keep all their quartback options open in the days prior to the design, with private training planned with Jalen Milroe from Alabama and Tyler Shegh in Louisville next to Sanders, by Schultz.

How will the Brown Tackle the Quarterback position in the design?
The idea that Sanders goes to the browns has lost number 2 from previously lost in the pre-Drafting process, further composed by Cleveland’s decision to reduce Vetan Joe Flacco to a one-Iir, $ 4 million that could be up to $ 13 million in incentive. I am a member of the Quarterback room with Deshaun Watson, who recently underwent an operation for a rewritten Achilles, and former first round Pick Kenny Pickett, who was backup of Jalen Hurts last season with the Philadelphia Eagles. The ownership of Browns said during the annual competition meeting earlier this spring that the team will not “force” a quarterback selection at the top of the board.
But assuming that the browns are best available with their best pick-a lot of mocks, Thrm who selects two-out star-hunter does not prevent them from taking a passer-by with their second-aund-pick (no. 33) Half of the round 1 to take Sanders or Dart if one of them is available. Cleveland, too you have two thirds of Picks, Nos. 67 and 94, that can be used as an ammunition.

How will the Saint Approaching the first round?
With news about the shoulder injury Van Derek Carr that appears late in the late week, the saints become one of the most interesting teams in this year’s design.
New Orleans, who has a car under the contract this 2026, could now lean heavily on the preparation of a Quarterback at number 9, which could force the QB-Neder-Teams behind them to try to trade in to come for them. But that bends back to this year’s perception Real Worth to act for in the front half of round 1?
If the fear is no, and pass on the giants to a quarterback at 3 o’clock, the saints have to shoot Sanders and Dart as options at 9. But that doesn’t mean they love Eithher. And if New Orleans chooses not to take a passer -by, the quartback intrigues of Picks 10 grows and beyond.
How high Ashton Jeanty to go?
Jeanty will be a first round pick, but it is difficult to determine who could take him. Jeanty comes from one of the best seasons for a run in the FBS history and is a clean blue chip perspective, but there is a lot of depth in the declining position in this design class, and the perception of tailbacks from seasons that Saquon Barkley and Derrick Henry had in 2024.
The Raiders are a popular recusation for Jeanty in Mock concepts, because Las Vegas had the work outlet in the NFL last season, and their new coach, Pete Carroll, you have a history of building his violations around the Run game. But the Jaguars (no. 5), Bears (no. 10), 49ers (no. 11), Cowboys (no. 12), Broncos (no. 20) and Steelers (no. 21) are all teams that Coul could also have had in the Boise State Superstar.
