NFL Confidential: Which teams want to draft a QB the most?

Cam Ward has been the suspected number 1 of the Tennessee Titans for more than a month. Then there are serious teams who want to add a quarterback, and they could do this at different point of the three -day design.

With a week to go for every club is an office on the clock, let’s keep diving in more of the most important players and storylines on their way to Green Bay.

QB Draft Domino

If the Giants Shedeur Sanders were allowed to pass on with the No. 3 Pick, keep an eye on Ole Miss Qb Jaxson Dart, some Swashbuckling style and flair for the dramatic SEMS-on size made for New York, and who I have tolted head coach Brian Daboll Likes.

Dart may not be for everyone, but as we explore in last week’s column, there is a lot to work with – especially in the form of leadership.

Several sources have indicated that he does not fall from the first round, so perhaps Giants General Manager Joe Schoen Eithher Abdul Carter or Travis Hunter – whoever does not take the browns at number 2 – and the movements up from no. 34 to get dart.

Louisville QB Tyler Shaugh is another prospect with amazing buzz. On 6-5, 219 pounds, of course I have to pass that we have in this class. And I intentionally use the word passer -by because Shaugh is not a pitcher – I have the bag and effortlessly football.

The saints can be in the game, not at number 9, but certainly in the second round – their next choice is no. 40 – or perhaps later in the first if they want to come back.

This is a franchise that stares out for a quarterback. And that has very little or none to do with the news that the Van Derek Carr 2025 season is in danger. Drew Brees and Sean Payton have long since disappeared – just like the glow of the only Super Bowl victory of the franchise in 2010.

Because this is not in a special strong design, “you can basically get the same player on 23 that you can go on 8”, an experienced NFC East Scout Scout Toled Fox Sports.

With few clubs that want to trade in, the saints might see when Eveno wants to zig differently.

Keep an eye on Syracuse’s Kyle McCord. The most productive passer-by in the country last season I have all the prototypical NFL size of Donovan McNabb in Donovan McNabb on 6-3, 218 pounds of the season, and is generally viewed by teams in Higher Rengard than most trekking analysis).

A stat that attracted the attention of an NFC explorer? The fact that MCCord 9-4 went at the university while finding out.

“When you evaluate quarterbacks, this is the whole package,” said the explorer. “It is clearly the characteristics, it is the mental composition, it is the history of coaching he has had, all. But it’s how he has hales [recruit]Plays well in Ohio State, but fans turn him to Michigan one time. He goes to Syracuse and wins 10 games – at Syracuse.

‘He was in many of those [games] And he always seemed to find a way out. That is what I look at as much as everything. “

The jets and stalkers – regardless of whether Aaron Rodgers signs – will be looking for a quarterback. McCord can be in the mix for Eithher Club.

Two other teams that have done extensive work on QBS this spring and will consider one that draws up one, depending on how the board falls: the Raiders and the browns.

A tight (end) market

The ravens might have left the cat out of the bag this week when GM Eric Decosta was not contacts about the future of veteran tight end marking Andrews.

The 29-Rold former All-Pro enters the last year of his contract without guaranteed money and a cap hit of almost $ 17 million. I had on average only 39.6 relevant yards per match in 2024, his worst output since his smoking year, and Baltimore would get $ 11 million in CAP space by separating away.

“I never know what will happen, and I never wanted to say this,” said Decosta. “But I can tell you this: Mark Andrews is a warrior. There is always a predictability with the design – you just never know.”

Baltimore probably introduced Isaiah in the last year of his Rookie deal and ready to take over it as TE1. This year the ravens have 11 trekking choices, the most bound in the competition.

A similar scenario unfolds in Philadelphia, where Dallas is well available through trade. He is also in the last year of his contract without guaranteed money.

Goedert and Andrews are both names to keep an eye on as a potential staircase candidate weekend.

Speaking of tight ends in the design, Michigan star Colston Loveland has been a riser. Tyler Warren from Penn State has received most of the Media-Blitz and rightly so, but the BIG ten produced another major player in Loveland, a fast and agile 6-6, 248-pound athlete with a complete Routeboom and Speelkarbonades to start up.

Loveland, what I understand, have a real shot to go into the 10-22 range of the first round after leading the Wolverines with a programmarord 56 catches with a tight end. He interviewed well and has a lot of fans who have many NFL buildings.

Ideal size and frame is one thing, but as a scouting director of the university told me about Loveland: “AF — ING great football player man. Does it all. Day 1 Mismatch, day 1 star.”
