Dodgers’ Clayton Kershaw tosses 3 scoreless innings in first rehab start

Dodgers-Werder Clayton Kershaw threw three scoreless innings for Triple-a Oklahoma City in his Crup Rehart-Start on Wednesday, while the 37-year-old left-handed tries to work his way back from outside season Surgers on his toe and knee.

Kershaw allowed two hits without a walk and threw two in the match against Tacoma.

The triple Cy Young Award winner has tackled a variety of health problems in recent years, and he has’ with 4.50 in seven starts before he was closed on 30 August with a bone rail in his big toe.

Kershaw, who was chosen to eat from the injured list on 17 May, has spent all 17 of his main class seasons with the Dodgers. The 10-go All-Star is 212-94 with an ERA of 2.50, and he was the NL MVP in 2014, when he went 21-3 with 1.77 ERA.

The rotation of the Dodgers currently consists of Yoshinobu Yamamoto, Roki Sasaki, Tyler GlasNow, Dustin May and Landon Knack. Together with Kershaw, offseason acquisition and 2023 NL cy Young winner Blake Snell is on the injured list of ignition in his throwing shoulder, while Shohei Ohtani slowly works in the direction of a return to the hill.

Given the Insfury history and age of Kershaw, it is unclear jus what he will offer to the Dodgers when he returns, or how long. However, he is approaching the individual milestone: Kershaw is on 2,968 career -strikeouts, so that he is only 32 to be the 20th pitcher ever to reach 3,000 ks for his career.
