Senator Chris Van Hollen, D-Marryland, was denied a visit to a Salvadoran migrant and accused a MS-13 member who was deported to El Salvador, after flying to the country on Wednesday morning.

Van Hollen was intended to visit Kilmar Abrego García, 29, who was deported to the “Terrorism Terrorism Confinement Center of El Salvadoran Mega for being an alleged member of the MS-13 gang, although her lawyers argue that she has no gang.

Van Hollen spoke with the journalists of El Salvador on Wednesday afternoon, when he promised to continue pressing to access Abrego García.

Hello, with Vice President Félix Augusto Antonio Ulloa Garay because President Nayib Armando Bukele Ortez was out of the country, although Hollen said he was grateful to talk about the case of Abrego García.

“I asked the vice president if I could meet Mr. Abrego García, and he said:” Well, you must make previous provisions to visit Cecot, “said Van Hollen.

He told Ulloa that he was not interested in making a tour of Cecot and that he just wanted to meet with Abbego García.

“Hello, he said he couldn’t make that happen,” said Van Hollen about Ulloa.

When Hollen asked him if he could return next week to see Awgo García, Ulloa told him that he could not promise that either. Ulloa also told the American senator that he could not simply fix it for him, or Abrego García’s family to talk to the inmate by phone.

The senator said the situation in El Salvador is “unfair,” and accused the Trump administration of lying about Abrego García.

“I’m going to continue pressing,” said Van Hollen. “I will continue to press in my soaking time here, and I will continue to press beyond that if necessary.”

The Supreme Court last week exceeded a lower court to facilitate the return of Abrego García de Cecot, where federal officials have sent hundreds of suspended criminals and gang members.

The Trump administration agreed to clear any administrative obstacle that prevents Abrego García from returning to the United States, but the attorney general Pam Bondi has said that returning it is “to El Salvador. If they want to return it. That is not.”

This has not caused little indignation on the part of the Democrats, and Van Hollen is the first to announce plans to travel to El Salvador to help ensure the launch of Abrego García.

“The Trump administrator illegally kidnapped Mr. Abrego García and, by his own admission, he was wrongly deported to El Salvador,” Van Hollen.

“Another second one should pass from his family,” he continued. “I am flying to El Salvador tomorrow morning to verify your condition and discuss your return.”

Van Hollen is not the only Democrat who argues to visit Abrego García and other imprisoned migrants. The representatives of the left Maxwell Frost, D-Florida, and Robert García, D-California, issued a joint letter on Tuesday in which they said they are “prepared to travel as soon as possible.”

In his letter, which was sent to the Supervision and Responsibility Committee of the House of Representatives, James Eat, R-Kensduky, on Tuesday, Frost and García requested the authorization to send a delegation of the Congress to visit CECOT to “carry out a social assistance control.
