Washington National Pitcher Jorge Lopez was executed from Wednesday evening’s game against the Pittsburgh Pirates after Pitch near Andrew McCutchen’s head led to the Benys that was briefly released.
In the seventh inning, López hit the previous batter Bryan Reynolds with a throw before he looked at McCutchen, who had to fall on the ground to prevent them from being hit by a 92 mph ball by his head.
While the referees gathered to discuss the incident, McCutchen and López started to argue, making banking banks empty. Pirates Outfielder Tommy Pham was also seen shouting while he was back by teammate Omneil Cruz.
