Sensex, Nifty up 1%, Top gainers & losers today: Wipro down 5%, Gensol, KFin Tech, Waaree Renewables, SBI Cards shares in action

The actions continued to drag despite the broader rebound in the intra -market market. After a flat opening, the reference indices delivered a strong rebound in the mid -trade session.

Sensex jumped 1007.23 pts or 1.31 percent to 78,051.52 axis at 12.33 pm, and Nifty 50 fired 267.05 pts or 1.14% to 23,704.25.

The banking sector gained more than 1 percent. The Nifty It index dropped 0.87 percent to 33,006.15 at the time of writing. Smallcap and Midcap indices are negotiated flat.

However, market experts believe that investor’s feelings remain under pressure due to the weak global signs and Trump’s tariff war. The president of the United States Federal Reserve, Jerome Powell, recently pointed out the important impact of tariffs on the global economy.

In the National Front, the fourth quarter’s profit season has added a cautious tone to the market.

The volatility index increased 2.94 percent to 16.33.

The main winners and losers today

The actions of Bharti Airtel, Icici Bank, Eternal, Sun Pharma and Grasim were negotiated among the main nifty winners 50 components, while Wipro, Hero Motocorp, Larsen & Turbo, Tech Mahindra and HCl Technologies were the main lags.

Of all the 2,835 actions that were negotiated in the National Stock Exchange, 1.870 advanced and 882 decreased.

Icici Bank, SBI, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank and Kotak Mahindra increased 1-3 percent.

Leading Nifty 50 winners, Bharti Airtel increased 2.89 percent to ₹ 1,875.20.

Icici Bank won 2.68 percent to ₹ 1,392.80. Grasim Industries quoted 2.05 percent positive to ₹ 2,758.30.

Eternal registered a gain of 2.53 percent to operate at ₹ 277.70 and the shares of Pharma Major Sun Pharma increased 1.96 percent to ₹ 1,726.30.

Among the lags, Wipro’s shares loot 5 percent to ₹ 234.90. The older one had warned of a weak quarter ahead in the middle of global uncertainties, pushing the stock market houses to receive cautious calls.

Other stocks of IT: Information and Tech Mahindra also fell around 1 percent. Infosys will announce the results of the fourth quarter today.

Auto Major Hero Motocorp decreased 1.37 percent to ₹ 3,730.10 by suspending production in four of its plants from April 17 to 19 to carry out the alignment of short -term supplies.

L&T shares fell 1.01 percent to ₹, 194.

Action actions

SBI payment cards and services and where renewable technologies were among those 49 actions that reach the maximum of 52 weeks today.

Meanwhile, Gensol reached another lower circuit after Sebi prohibited the company and its promoters of the stock markets until they are more orders in a case of diversion of funds and governance.

Among Nifty 100, ABB, Jindal Steel, CG Power, Adani Energy Solutions increased 3-5 percent. Kfin Technologies, Delhivering, NBCC, Igil The actions shot between the small layers, while Hudco, Kei, 360 One and NTPC Green won among the middle roof index.

Kfin’s shares joined 8.18 percent to ₹ 1,138.50 in a definitive agreement with Ascent Fund Services (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. to acquire an immediate control participation or 51 percent.

In the EEB, Fusion Finance actions recovered from 12 percent, while the Sonata, Wipro and Glaxosmithline Pharmaceuticals traded in negative territory.

Infosys, HDFC Life Insurance Company, Jio Financial Services, HDFC Asset Management Company, Tata Elxsi and Mahindra Epc Irrigation are among the companies that announce their results today. Follow our live
