Various franchise has won the Stanley Cup in each of the past four years. The lightning was the last team that repeated and won it in 2020 and 2021.
Before that, the Penguins won it in 2016 and 2017, and before that was the last team that won successive titles in 1997 and 1998.
The Panthers achieved the last two Stanley Cup final, fell to Las Vegas and Deficeing Edmonton last season in 2023.
Of the last 10 NHL champions, six have been from the Eastern Conference and four Haen from the West.
Only two of the last 10 Stanley Cup finals went to seven games, and there has been no Sweep since the Red Wings defeated Capitals 4-0 in 1998.
Finally, the last time the Stanley Cup winner ended with the best record in the regular season in 2013 (Chicago Blackhawks).
