FSU shooting: Famed sports alumni speak out after deadly shooting

The deadly shooting at the Campus at Florida State University surprised La Nación on Thursday.

Several former state athletes from Star Florida spoke in support of other seminols after less two were killed and at least six were judged.

The former FSU athletes included the Liv Brooks Koepka Golf star, reigning the NFL defensive rookie from the year Jared Fresh and former field marshal of Seminoles Star and the current field marshal of the New York Jets Jordan Travis.

The shooting begged around 11:50 am, the two murdered people were not FSU students, according to the authorities.

Duration A press conference Thursday afternoon, the authorities identified the shooter Subped as Phoenix Ikner, 20, a school student.

I was transported to a hospital after being “neutralized” by the authorities. Police also said that their mother is a deputy of the Sheriff with the Leon County Sheriff’s Office, Adding Ikner used his mother’s weapon in the murder.

FSU has canceled all classes until Friday and said that sporting events in Tallahassee were canceled over the weekend.

The president of the FSU, Richard McCullough, issued a statement about X, qualifying the shooting “an act of tragic and sensory violence.”

The cancellations will include a series of three games for baseball team No. 7 of the school against Virginia from Thorsday, and the final series of softball team No. 4 of the regular season against Georgia Tech, starting Friday.

The last two spring soccer practices of the school have also been canceled.

“There will be more updates in the next few days and more time to reflect and heal. But now, we cry together,” said the president. “We rely on each other. And we remember who we are. We are the state of Florida. We are familiar. And we join together.”
