After a night appointment with his future wife, Dolph Lundgren decided to enter the vodka production ring.
The “rocky” star, who studied chemical engineering before becoming an actor, has presented a hard cut vodka, a 90-proof spirit that is made with first-line potatoes and water from the rocky mountains.
It was obvious to the 67 -year -old, who played the Russian boxer Ivan Drago.

“I looked at the vodka space, and it looked like a child or boring compared to tequila,” he shared. “Many people from Hollywood or Entertainment have entered tequila and whiskey … Vodka was an open field.

Lundgren and Krokdal were in a search to find the best distillery to give life to their idea of the perfect vodka. In Idaho, a two -hour flight from their home in California, they found exactly what they were looking for.
Russian potatoes cultivated in the state, along with the “Water from the snow of the rocky mountain” created a mixture that was strong and soft. The hard cut vodka was born.

The final product, which received double gold in the competition of world spirits of San Francisco in 2024, presented “bright fennel notes, green apple and only a little caramel,” Forbes said.
