Narayana Murthy’s 17-month-old grandson to earn Rs 3.3 crore from Infosys dividend?

Ekagrah Rohan Murty, the 17 -month -old grandson of Infosys, Nonana Murthy, will receive a dividend of RS 3.3 million Rupias of Infosys for the financial year that ends in March 2025.

Ekagrah, the son of Rohan Murthy and Aparna Krishnan, has 15 Lakh of shares in the largest representing a 0.04% participation in the company. These actions gave his grandfather in March 2024, when he was only four months old. At that time, participation was valued at approximately 240 million rupees.

On Thursday, Infosys declared a final dividend or RS 22 per share. With 15 Lakh of shares under his name, Ekagrah can win RS 3.3 million pays of payment. Adding this to the RS 7.35 million rupees appealed to provisional dividends earlier this year, the total child dividends income for the financial year has reached an amazing amount of RS 10.65 million rupees.

Born in November 2023 in Bangalore, Ekagrah is the third grandson of Narayana and Sudha Murty, joining the Krishna and Anoushka cousins, the daughter of Akshahata Murty and the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Rishi Sunak. With only one year and five months, Ekagrah is among Youngt’s known millionaires in India.

The collective wealth of the Murty family of Infosys continues to grow. Akshahata Murty, who owns 3.89 million shares in the company, will win around RS 85.71 million rupees of the final divident. Narayana Murthy will receive RS 33.3 million rupees, while his wife, Sudha Murty, can win 76 million rupees.

The registration date for the dividend has been resolved to May 30, and the amount will be accredited on June 30.

Founded in 1981 with an initial capital of RS 10,000, Infosys has become one of the prominent technological giants of India. Sudha Murty, separated from being a best -selling author and remarkable philanthropist, played a crucial role in the early development of the company. He also directed the Infosys Foundation for approximately two decades, withdrawing from his position in December 2021. He recently entered the public service as a nominated member of Rajya Sabha.
