Special prosecutor seeks to limit Karen Read’s opening in murder retrial

The special prosecutor appointed to lead the second trial for murder of Karen Read, who is accused of killing his Boston police officer, boyfriend John or, the statements next week.

In a two -sentence motion only a few days before the new trial begins with opening statements, the specially designated assistant district prosecutor, Hank Brennan, argued that defense plans to use injuries to injuries for O’Kefe’s right arm could violate a previous order that prohibits the defense of trying to blame someone else for read death before establishing the evidence in the trial.

His first judgment ended with a jury stagnant last year, and has a request to the United States Supreme Court arguing that partial and unnoticed results should justify dropping two of the three positions he faces.
