The director of National Intelligence (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard announced the launch of the first batch of the murder archives of Robert F. Kennedy on Friday after provoking the news earlier this month.
“Almost 60 years after the tragic murder of Senator Robert F. Kennedy, the American people, for the first time, will have the opportunity to review the federal government investigation thanks to leadership or President Trump,” Gabbard said. “My team feels honored that the president gave us to lead the declassification efforts and that a light of the truth has been shining for a long time. I extend my deepest thanks for Bobby Kennedy and the support of their families.”
The Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., said in the same statement that releasing the archives was “a necessary step to restore confidence in the US government.”

“I praise President Trump for his courage and his commitment to transparency. I am also grateful to Tulsi Gabbard for his obstructive efforts to eradicate and declassify these documents,” he continued.
Similarly, the White House Secretary, Karoline Leavitt, reacted to the launch of the files in X on Friday morning, writing: “The RFK files have been launched. Promises made. Promises maintained.”

Duration An appearance of Friday morning in “Fox and Friends,” Gabbard said that 10,000 pages had released their legs, none of which was previously digitized or publicly seen. Gabbard said the archives included documents on government investigation into murder and “questions and theories” as the investigation was developed, as well as the conversations and information of the State Department.
“The importance of this is huge,” said Gabbard. “Almost 60 years have passed since Senator Kennedy was killed. Obviously we don’t stop here.”

Gabbard also said that “only the other day, we discovered around 50,000 additional pages only around the murder of Senator Kennedy,” saying that he had “about 100 people in the national archives” scanning the documents in advance of a second launch.
“Almost six decades have passed since the tragic murder of Senator Robert F. Kennedy and these historical archives have been hidden from the American people all this time, until now,” said a White House spokesman for Fox News Digital. “On behalf of the maximum transparency, President Trump has published more than 10,000 pages of the RFK archives with more to come. He has never led a more transparent president in the history of our country than President Donald J. Trump. Another fact and promise.”
Gabbard had previously mentioned the fall of the archives the Turnet meeting of April 10 at the White House, saying at that time that 100 people had been “working throughout the day” in the paperwork related to the murders of Martin Luther King Jr. and RFK and subsequent investigations.

“These have one leg in the boxes stored for decades,” Gabbard told President Donald Trump. Kennedy was also present the meeting.
“They have never scanned or seen legs before.
The launch of the RFK files occurs as a result of the Trump’s decarking executive order issued shortly after starting its second term. The order specifically seeks to declass archives about the murders of former President John F. Kennedy, his brother Robert and the civil rights icon.

Trump had previously promised to declassify the documents while in the campaign, saying at that time: “When I returned to The White HouseI declared and disable all the documents related to the murder of JFK. 60 years have passed, so that the American people know the truth. “
According to the order, the director of National Intelligence and other officials were expected to present their release plans proposed for the RFK and MLK files on March 9.

DNI and the Attorney General previously received a deadline of February 7 to present their release plans for JFK files.

The Department of Justice was considered at the end of February after launching a lot of Jeffrey Epstein files. Many of the publicized documents had already been released by the Federal Criminal Judgment of Ghislaine Maxwell, the former Epstein lover and the condemned accomplice.
