Barrow County judge, Georgia, ruled on Thursday that Colin Gray, who has been accused of 29 crimes related to his son’s massive massive shooting at the Apalachee High School high school last year, will face a jury of a different county.

Duration The Audience of the afternoon, lawyers of the State and Gray agreed that the trial should be transferred, but for different reasons, according to Fox 5 Atlanta.

The defense said the trial should move to protect the integrity of the trial.

“What we must do is find a place where we can get an impartial and fair jury,” said Gray’s lawyer Jimmy Berry. “I don’t think anywhere in this epicenter is we going to find that.”

The State said it does not want to further affect the well -being of the Barrow County community.

“The reason why the State accepts the change of headquarters of the Barrow County is that all Barrow County was a victim in this case,” said District prosecutor Brad Smith.

Finally, the Judge of the Superior Court of the Barow Head County, Nicholas Primm, agreed that a change of place was justified. He pointed out that the trial will occur outside the county completely or inside the county with jurors who do not live there.

“I will have to find out if we are going to export the trial or import jurors,” he said.

Gray’s positions include second degree murder, involuntary homicide and reckless behavior.

Colt Gray, then 14 years old, supposedly opened fire inside the Apalachee high school on September 4, killing four and hurting nine. Or the four victims who were killed, two were teachers and two students.

The youngest Gray was accused of 55 criminal crimes, including four positions of murder for serious crime in the shooting.

The accused murderer was on the police radar already in 2023.

Jackson County Sheriff’s office had visited Gray’s home several times and had marked Gray as a person of interest before shooting after a 2023 report from an online threat to shoot at a secondary school he attended.

Police investigated that threat and spoke with Colin and Colt at home on May 21, 2023.
