A church in New England may seem dishes from others from the outside, but it is full of surprises once you go through the door.

The South SOLVILLE HOUSE in Wateville, Maine, is known by the locals as the “Maine Sistine Chapel”, Cordination of Associated Press (AP).

Within the building, the walls and roofs are covered with 70 -year -old fresh murals painted by artists in the 1950s.

The artists were tolerated to the biblical recreation scenes to “sacrifice rich and adequate images.”

Colby College in Maine has dedicated a website to the church that describes the various scenes and the 13 artists that appear in the building.

The non -agenaries Sigmund Abels in New York City and Sidney Hurwitz or Newton, Massachusetts, were two of the artists who contributed.
