The suspect in the fire caused in the mansion of the governor of Pennsylvania allegedly made a 911 call after he set fire to the residence in which he explained that he was motivated by the Israel-Famas War in Gaza.
Cody Balmer, 38, is accused of attempted murder, fire caused, robbery, terrorism and crimes related to allegedly set fire to the residence of Democratic governor Josh Shapiro on Sunday.

A dispatcher first asked for the emergency direction before Balmer explained that there was no emergency.
“Well, I really don’t have an emergency. I would like to apologize. Governor Josh Shapiro needs to know that Cody Balmer will not participate in his plans for what he wants to do to the Palestinian people,” Balmer said in the call. “You need to leave my family alone. You need to take my daughters’ eyes. And you need to stop killing my friends, as if Manny Matara two weeks ago, or last week on Saturday.”

Balmer added: “You all know where to find me. I am not hiding and I will confess everything I had done.”
Similar to the 911 call, a search warrant for Balmer devices had revealed that Balmer attacked the governor for “what is good to do to the Palestinian people,” Penlive said. According to the Order, the State Police CPL. Benjamin Forsythe said the suspect addressed Shapiro about “perceived injustices to the people of Palestine.” Forsythe also pointed out the Jewish faith of the governor as a possible reason behind the attack, without elaborating.
Another guarantee details Balmer’s interview with the state soldiers in which he allegedly admitted to having “housed hatred towards” Shapiro. According to the reports, Balmer also admitted a soldier who was an answer for the incendiary attack and said he planned to attack Shapiro with his hammer if he found the governor in the mansion.

The surveillance video described in an order supposedly shows Balmer breaking a window in the governor’s residence before throwing “a incendiary device” inside. According to the order, Balmer broke another window, entered the residence and deployed another incendiary device before “approaching the dining room.”
The order also says that a woman identified himself as the “former paramour” of Balmer. Said who confessed the attack and asked him to call the police to return it.
“This type of violence is becoming too common in our society,” Shapiro said at a press conference. “And I do not give, it comes from one side or another in particular, aimed at a particular part or another, or a particular person or another. It is not right and has to stop. We have to be better than this.”
