First in Fox: United States Senator Tim Sheehy, R-Montana, called Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum in a scathing letter that addresses the large amount of wastewater and raw waste that the neighboring country has thrown into the Tijuana River.

The letter describes Sheehy’s concern not only for the health and safety of local residents, but also points out that toxic escape could endanger the national security of the United States.

“This continuous discharge is disgusting of thousands of Americans annually, including the US Seal of the US Marine and the marine special forces that train in the affected waters,” the letter tells the president of Mexico. “In February 2025, the Office of the Inspector General of the Department of Defense concluded that, in the absence of action, the Marina Special War Command advised to cancel or relocate up to 75 percent or water training exercises at the naval amphibious base crowned due to high.”

Last week, the International Limit and Water Commission declared that Mexico is throwing 5 million gallons of wastewater per day in the RRVER of Tijuana. Toxic waste then flows to the United States and can reach the Pacific Ocean.

“For decades, Mexico has been throwing toxic waste where our most elite service trees train, causing serious health problems and damaging our preparation,” Sheehy told Fox News Digital. “The problem is only getting worse, and its failure to do something about it is to damage our troops and our national security. Mexico needs to stop this toxic tide immediately.”

While Sheehy sounds the alarm of Congress, local leaders have also confirmed that the intentional dump of the Mexican government has left residents with dangerous and harmful environmental conditions.

“This wastewater is not only unpleasant, it is dangerous. It contains E. coli, antibiotic, arsenic and other toxic chemicals,” explained the San Diego County supervisor, Desmond in a Recent Fox News opinion article. “Our water is contaminated. Our air is contaminated with aerosol waste. Residents report everything, from cutaneous infections to viral pharyngitis, and even family pets have sick Gods after exposure.”

Next Tuesday, Fox News Digital reported That the administrator of the EPA, Lee Zeldin, is very aware of the problem, and intends to visit a local treatment center in San Diego to evaluate the harmful flow of poisonous waste that enters the United States from Mexico. A source close to Rarin told Fox that this is a priority for President Donald Trump’s environmental leader.

“We have heard too many horror stories from Navy’s Seal, some of the most brave and brilliant service members of the army, who get sick from water training that have been contaminated by Mexican wastewater that have flown to the nation,” said Zeldin. “Zeldin said.” Zeldin said. “Zeldin said.” “This has been a human health crisis that has remained for decades.”
