Katarina Johnson-Thompson will make the obstacles of Sprint and the javelin on May 18 at the Annual Athletics Meeting in the city of East Midlands University this weekend
Katarina Johnson-Thompson will compete in Laughborough International this year on Sunday, May 18 at the Paula Radcliffe stadium at Laughborough University.
The 32 -year -old heptatlon silver medalist at the Olympic Games last summer in Paris will align in Sprint’s obstacles and javelin events.
Johnson-Thompson has the British heptatlon record and has a brilliant race that includes gold in the Commonwealth 2022 games and the 2023 World Championship.

Now in its 67th year, Laughborough International is a consultation of the first traditional pipeline for the United Kingdom outdoor athletics season. The meeting presents teams from England, Wales, Scotland, GB and Ni Sub-20, the host team of the National Athletics League Plus Loughborough.
Femi Akinsanya, director of Athletics at Laughborough University, said: “Katarina Johnson-Thompson is one of the most important names of world athletics and we are delighted to return to LIA (Laughborough).
“The day always brings an incredible atmosphere while talented athletes compete in a first -class environment. Whether it is a fan of a long time or new in sport, there is something for everyone to enjoy.”
The tickets cost £ 8 for adults and £ 3 for students and the meeting begins at 10.30 am
