In a movement to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) in all technical education currents, the Technical Education Council of All India (AICTE) has established a committee to explore the subsequent expansion of AI and the AI applied beyond programmers as in.
The president of AICTE, Professor TG Sitharam reported that the Committee is chaired by Anand Unpande, managing director of persistent systems, and includes experts from IIT, NIT and other institutions specialized in AI.
“We are putting one more committee to the introduction of the laterally through the programs, special applied to the committee is chaired by Anand Undone … There are Iit and Nit experts who also work in AI. Streams,” said Sitharam.
As part of this initiative, AICTE has introduced AI in programs such as BBA, BCA and Electrical Engineering. The president emphasized: “Everyone should understand artificial intelligence and data analysis. We have done a new curriculum for BBA and BCA. We have introduced the electrical engineering.”
AICTE is an organism at the national level responsible for accreditation and regulatory technical education in India.
The president pointed out that the training of the Faculty has been prioritized to guarantee effective teaching of AI.
“Our teachers should be trained … because one is teaching Itelf, and another is what will change their change, students will send tasks. How does the question change so that they don’t simply copy it?
Declaging 2025 as the ‘year of artificial intelligence’, AICTE has launched several initiatives to promote AI in education. According to reports, the initiative aims to integrate AI in 14,000 universities and empower 40 million students. Key elements include AI awareness campaigns, faculty development and associations with leading technology companies.
AICTE currently reviews his curriculum every two years through a structured process that involves an expert consultation. The president declared: “We do it (review of the curriculum) every two years. To prepare a committee, you must sit with experts, as the whole process is repeated”
